About the event

Join us for our statewide workshop designed to align public safety agencies and private sector stakeholders on detection, response, and coordination. Unauthorized drone activity continues to increase across large events, critical infrastructure, and public spaces. The Michigan CUAS Task Force provides a coordinated, statewide approach to detection, response, and information sharing between public and private partners.


Topics:

  • Enforcement updates, including how to effectively partner with public safety on response, documentation, and prosecution of nefarious actors.

  • Equipment considerations and deployment strategies

  • Overview of the MDA cUAS Task Force

  • Private sector deployment program brief

  • Safer Skies Act and coordination with the public sector for mitigation strategies

  • Additional emerging topics

  • Law Enforcement: Agencies responsible for response and enforcement.

  • Government Partner and Stakeholders supporting policy and airspace awareness.

  • Venue & Event Operators: Stadiums, amphitheaters, and large outdoor venues.
